Car Thefts Increase

Jami Webster, Sutherland Police Chief, was asked by Council members about the case against recent car thefts Sutherland. Webster reported that car thefts were rampant in the area, and that the case against thefts in Sutherland were in a good place, with the evidence needing to be presented. She commented that she believed that rise in thefts was due to the difficult times due to Coronavirus and the current higher unemployment.
