It’s Not That Complicated

The Iowa legislature approved the mailing to every active voter in Iowa Requests for Absentee Ballots.

The Iowa Secretary of State’s office, campaigns and special interest groups all send out absentee ballot request forms. Essentially, the application is a form to be completed and returned to the Auditor’s office. Once verified as authentic at the Auditor’s (county commissioner of elections) office, a ballot is then mailed to the voter at his or her current address.
