Wolverines Bow Out to West Sioux

The South O'Brien softball team would see it's already short season come to an end Wednesday, July 15 against a good hitting West Sioux squad. The Wolverines dropped the Class 2A Region 3 quarterfinal 12-5 at Paullina's Swanson Sports Complex.

South O'Brien did not get a hit until the fourth inning and could only muster six hits on the night. "West Sioux on the other hand had nine hits and seemed to find the gaps all night long," commented Wolverine head coach Heather Struve.
