The Pony League will play Sioux Valley and the Little League will play Moneta. Game time is 7:00. Lets all get out and back the team Thursday night. The Softball game originally scheduled for Thursday night will be played Friday night.

Everything But Name Is Changed For Event - Primghar's new and different version of "Crazy Daze", Thursday, Friday and Saturday, July 28, 29 and 30, is expected to create "crazy" enthusiasm among shoppers as they embark o n "mad." buying sprees in Primghar stores. Although the event is still called "Crazy Days", the name is about the only thing about it that is the same. While past townwide sales of this nature have been high-lighted by street selling and ridiculous garb worn b y merchants and employees, as well as low prices, none of this, except the lowest prices ever on valuable merchandise will be evident.

O'Brien County visitors in August - Twenty-six young men and women from Holland, Belgium, Persia and Israel will be visiting the United States this summer. Mrs. Paul Linder of hartley is coordinating their visit to O'Brien County. Persons willing to serve as host families may contact Pastor Saxton- (757-4960 or 6325) or Pam Kroese (757-6391) who serves as church office secretary at the United Church of Primghar (757-4960). The group will arrive here in time for supper the evening of Monday, August 11 (probably between 6 and 8 p.m.), and will leave from St. Andrews Church, sanborn, Wednesday, August 13, 8 a.m. after breakfast. The sponsoring group is the Association for World Travel Exchange. Mrs. Linder can be reached at hartley, 728-2528. Hosts provide a family atmosphere - and usual hospitality for their guests. It is not necessary that hosts go to lots of extra work. These young people are visiting the U.S.A. to observe and learn, not to be highly entertained. Some may need time to rest, letter writing, etc. Over the past 7 years people in Primghar and O'Brien County have received many interesting encounters through this experience with students and travelers of many foreign countries!
