Wolverine hopes fade with late Unity Christian flurry

 


Unity Christian blew open a two-run game by scoring 13 runs in the fifth inning to defeat South O’Brien 23-9 June 30 at Paullina. The Wolverines had scored four runs in the bottom of the fourth to draw within 10-8 in the War Eagle Conference matchup.

Tristan Wilson went 3-for-3 at the plate for the home team with two RBI’s and a run scored. Micah Davis was 2-for-2 with a walk, an RBI and three runs scored.
