South O'Brien Starts Slow but Finishes Strong


Unity Christian came to Paullina for War Eagle Conference softball June 30 and found itself in front 3-0 after 2-1/2 innings of play. The Wolverines finally posted a couple runs in the bottom of the third to cut the lead to 3-2 in favor of the Knights. A leadoff double by Skye Rehder was the highlight of the third. In the fourth inning South O'Brien recorded three hits and a pair of Unity errors aided the Wolverines in scoring five runs to go up 7-3.
