Wolverines blanked by Akron-Westfield

 

South O'Brien was shut out for the first time this season as Akron-Westfield's Jack Anderson pitched scoreless ball in the Westerners' 10-0 victory in six innings June 19 at Paullina. The loss dropped the Wolverines to 1-2 in the War Eagle Conference and 1-3 overall.

The host team managed three singles, one each by Micah Davis, Jett Keith and Case Moermond. Anderson struck out seven Wolverine batters.

Josh Johannsen's three innings pitched resulted in five runs (four earned) on two hits with three strikeouts and three walks. Kadon Louscher allowed no hits but walked five, yielding three run...
