Ag producers may soon apply for USDA's Coronavirus Food Assistance Program


The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) will soon begin taking applications for the Coronavirus Food Assistance Program (CFAP). As part of applying for the program, ag producers will need to contact the Farm Service Agency (FSA) county office at the local USDA Service Center to schedule an appointment. Find the nearest office at farmers.gov/cfap.

Local FSA staff will work with the producers to apply for the program, and through forms asking for this type of information:

• Contact

• Personal, including your Tax Identification Number

• Farming operating structure
