2020 Iowa Primary Elections

The Iowa Secretary of State's office has mailed applications for absentee ballots to each active registered voter in Iowa. If you believe you are registered and active (voted within the most recent 2 years) you should have received an application for an absentee ballot for the Iowa Primary to be held June 2, 2020. If you have not received that application, you may apply online at http://www.obriencounty.org. Click "Departments." Click "Auditor." Scroll down to story "Sample Ballots for the 2020 Primary Elections June 2nd Please consider voting by Absentee Ballot!" and read more. A link is embedded in this story to apply for an application for absentee ballot.

Whether you mail or deliver your application or apply online, your application must be in the physical possession of the Auditor's office by 5:00pm Friday May 22, 2020.

In-person voting is only taking place at the Primghar Community Building or the Pavillion in Sheldon on June 2, 2020.

The O'Brien County Auditor's office encourages you to vote absentee to help stop the spread of COVID-19.
