Lady Wolverines slip past Gehlen

South O'Brien entertained the crowd on Parents' Night by pulling out a 50-47 triumph over Gehlen Catholic January 31 at Paullina. The Wolverines came from behind in the fourth quarter to even their War Eagle Conference record at 4-4. With three wins at home during the week, South O'Brien's overall record improved to 10-8.

Taryn Hintz took up residence at the free throw line, attempting 20 charity tosses and making 16. She finished the game with 22 points. Skye Rehder dropped in a trio of three-point baskets and a pair of foul shots for her 11 points. Anna Friedrichsen delivered eight points...
