The second quarter class competitions came to an end on Friday, January 10, which also concluded the first semester. Grades 9 - 12 took part in activities and competitive games throughout the quarter.  Before Christmas break, each class was given a gingerbread village kit to assemble and be judged against the other classes. The seniors won this activity with an intricately decorated village. The last day before Christmas break, students went to the gym for some holiday games, including a contest to balance ornaments and a marshmallow & chocolate milk eating contest.  The juniors ended the quarter with the most points overall winning a prize for their class. Their prize will be determined in the upcoming weeks. In the past, prizes options have been early outs, pizza parties, and late starts.

Left - Makenna Rehder and Riley Draper race to eat a cup of mini marshmallows and drink a cup of chocolate milk in order to win points for their classes.
