Lady Wolverines pick up conference win over St. Mary's

South O'Brien played its first official conference game December 13 and collected its first conference win, dispatching Remsen St. Mary's 56-29. Fast starts contributed greatly as the Wolverines won the first quarter 17-6 and came back from halftime to outscore the Hawks 19-8 in the third quarter.

Kaylee Jacobs poured in six three point baskets to finish with a game-high 19 points. Taryn Hintz was right on her tail with 18 points to go along with a team-high 11 rebounds and four blocked shots. The team grabbed a total of 40 rebounds, including 19 on the offensive glass.
