Foreign Animal Disease Preparedness Workshop Dec. 3 in Orange City

ORANGE CITY, Iowa - The Iowa Pork Industry Center (IPIC) at Iowa State University, in collaboration with the Iowa Pork Producers Association, will host a workshop to address preparations for a foreign animal disease outbreak on Dec. 3, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the ISU Extension and Outreach Sioux County office in Orange City.

The IPIC team will explain what the state and federal response might include in the event of a foreign animal disease outbreak in the U.S., and how producers can individually prepare for such an outbreak on their farm.
