The South O'Brien Wolverines traveled to #1 ranked Britt, West Hancock Friday for an IAHSAA Quarterfinal Football game. A trip to the UNI-Dome and a seed in the Semi-finals were at stake.
The Wolverines deferred the coin toss and West Hancock elected to receive the opening kick. This gave the Wolverines the ball in the second half. The opening drive for the Eagles of West Hancock turned into a touchdown with 9:25 to go in the first quarter. We knew they had a solid offense with a great offensive line and the Eagles showed that on the first drive.
