Veteran's Day Programs At South O'Brien Schools

South O'Brien 7-12 students gathered with Zion St. John students to celebrate Veterans Day with an assembly on November 11. The assembly opened with the presentation of the colors, "The National Anthem," and "The Pledge of Allegiance."

The legion auxiliary members then presented flags to the fourth-grade students from Zion. While the Zion students received flags, the choir, directed by John Krager, sang "In Flanders Fields."

A slide show of area veterans played while the band, directed by Jarod Lancaster, performed "America the Beautiful" and "Nation...
