The monthly BINGO party was held on the 23rd of October at the Willoway Complex, Sutherland, Iowa. They also had a Halloween party that day. Amond the events at the party were a costume contest, and roll the pumpkin to knock over solo cups and a Halloween trivia game.

Ximena Baker winner of the costume contest.

The party started with a few games of BINGO. The winners received prizes of books, candy, treats, household items, or crossword puzzle books. This was followed by a pumpkin roll game where the attendees had to roll a small pumpkin and knock over solo cups. Maureen Amendt and Neomia Foley knocked over all the cups but 1. They tied so there was a sudden death roll off. This sudden death roll had a lot of pressure on it because they would win a large amount of corn candy. The two rolled their pumpkin and both knocked over NO solo cups. This was enjoyed by everyone with a good laugh. They kept rolling pumpkins and finely Maureen won the corn candy. BINGO games were again played. The Halloween Trivia game was won by Judy Schultz. She answered the most trivia questions correctly. The costume competition was held with 8 people dressing up in costume. The other attendees had to clap for their favorite costume to determine the winner. The competition may have been fixed a little. There was no clapping for any costumes until it was Ximena's turn (the little girl dressed as a baker) then everyone clapped. Ximena won and received a special Halloween bag. She was very excited. The day ended with more BINGO, popcorn, prizes for everyone and a dish of freshly made apple crisp.
