Einck Competes at Science Competition in New York

South O'Brien students for several years have had the opportunity to compete in the Genius Olympiad at SUNY Oswego University in upstate New York. This year's participant was Junior Kaeley Einck.

Einck qualified by winning the regional competition in March held in Fort Dodge. She researched the effect of windmills on yield and growth of beans. She measured beans every week in 25 foot increments around the windmill. Einck then found the yield by hand-harvesting the beans.
