Wash Me! Car Wash Now Open
September 19, 2019
It's an outsized, state-of-the-art car wash right on Highway 10 just as you enter Sutherland from the west. The 2-bay self-service car wash offers a variety of conveniences for a variety of vehicles.
The east bay is a touchless and uses a rotating wand. The bay does not have tracks. The driver simply moves forward at prompts between the light lines and the wand does the rest. A variety of car care treatments are available including pre-soak, soap, spot-free rinse and more. Payment can be made using plastic as well as cash. It's all digital! Vehicles as large as an extended cab dually pickup can use this bay. It has a height clearance of 7 feet. Ladder racks or other add-ons cannot be put through the bay. Powerful dryers blow off water as the car exits. This bay is up and running and waiting to clean your car or passenger truck.
The east bay is hand wash. But it is so much larger. A full size truck with trailer can be hand washed in this bay, although not both together. The west bay measures 22' x 50' and 14' tall.
Water flows in 10-minute increments in this bay and charges can be stopped to lessen the cost of washing, rinsing or other car cleaning duties. The hand cleaning bay is still getting some of its amenities installed, but is expected to open for business before October.
Wash Me! car wash is owned by Kevin and Joyce Zubrod of Sutherland. A video of the auto wash can be viewed at http://www.belltimescourier.com.
