Well-rounded Wolverines whip Sioux Center


Good pitching, timely hitting, solid defense – and a few breaks. That was the winning formula as South O'Brien topped Sioux Center 8-1. The Siouxland Conference dwelling Warriors hosted the contest June 25 at Sioux Center's Open Space Park.

"Bailey Tjossem threw a fantastic game on the mound for the Wolverines," stated South O'Brien head coach Heather Struve. "She allowed just two hits, one earned run, walked three and struck out five in seven innings of action. Her curve ball and change up were working very well."
