Access Request for Flood Control Approved

The Monday June 18 Board of Supervisors meeting reconvened their public hearing regarding one temporary and one permanent easement requested by Iowa Department of Transportation. The temporary easement is to build on the bottom of Mill Creek on the north side of Highway 10, flood control. The construction includes layering of toe rock, rock and topping with sod. The project restores the ground to its original elevation and surface condition.

The permanent easement is to access the necessary area for maintenance and repair to the flood control, particularly in water effects to the bridge.
