Wolverines lose conference tilt to Trinity Christian

 

Jarome Jackson had a hit to lead off the Wolverines's scoring inning against Unity Christian.

A three-run fifth inning helped propel Trinity Christian to a 5-0 win over South O'Brien. The War Eagle Conference Baseball game was played June 3 at Hull.

Micah Davis slides safely into third. He would score the South O'Brien run in the loss to Unity Christian.

Case Moermond was given the starting nod and pitched five innings. He struck out eight batters and walked four in allowing five runs on five hits. Four of the runs were earned. Jett Keith hurled one inning of scoreless relief. He gave up one hit, struck out one batter and walked one.

Taylor Steffens recorded a double in three at bats. The other three Wolverine hits, all singles, came from Josh Johannsen, Micah Davis and Keith. Kadyn Steffens drew the lone walk off Tiger pitching.
