Wolverines allow big inning in loss to Unity Christian


Unity Christian scored 12 runs in the second inning on the way to a 19-1 four-inning win over South O'Brien June 7 at Paullina. The Knights had put up three runs in the first inning and added a pair of runs in both the third and fourth innings.

Case Moermond had two hits for the Wolverines. In the third inning, Jarome Jackson singled but was forced at second on Micah Davis' ground ball. Davis advanced to third and from there he scored on Taylor Steffens' base hit.
