Lady Wolverines make short work of CCE


South O'Brien used a combination of eight hits, three walks and seven Clay Central-Everly errors to score 14 runs in two innings. The result was a 14-0 win June 5 at Paullina.

"We were very aggressive on the bases, always being aware and taking the extra base if at all possible," pointed out Heather Struve, South O'Brien head coach. Hannah Dau had two singles and scored twice to pace the offense. Taryn Hintz had a double, three RBI's and two runs, while Jordan Nieuwenhuis knocked in three runs of her own.
