Bats come up big as Lady Wolverines pound Trinity Christian

 

Erin Wagner belted a triple and a single in the tourney win over Sioux Central.

South O'Brien needed run production to overcome Trinity Christian and the team delivered in a big way. The Wolverines scored in all six innings to come away with a 23-7 win June 3 at Hull to move to 3-0 in the War Eagle Conference.

"We may have underestimated Trinity a bit since we had beaten them so easily in the first game of the season," admitted Wolverine head coach Heather Struve. "I was glad to see us continue to hit the ball. All nine hitters scored at least one run, which is very impressive!"
