On March 29th, members from the South O'Brien FFA chapter traveled to Brookings, South Dakota to compete in the Little "I" career development events at South Dakota State University. Some of these events included Meats, Dairy Cattle and Horse judging, Floriculture, Dairy Foods, Agronomy, Nursery and Landscape, and Vet Science.

Many of the members use this event as an opportunity to practice previously learned skills or explore new ones. The highest placing team this year was the Reserve Champion and 3rd place Range Plant ID teams.

Arianna Frerk, who participated in Range Plant ID and Meats judging, stated, "It was a really fun day! I learned a lot, but the best part of Little 'I' is the ice cream at the end!"
