Magic Theme at Sutherland Library

Friday mornings during June, the summer reading program at General N. B. Baker Library in Sutherland opens for 3 different ventures about magic.

On June 7 from 9:30 am until 1:00pm Marlene Boernsen, an O’Brien County beekeeper will bring bees and speak of how important bees are to the environment and the food chain. Learn from her and from reading choices at the library about how bees live and how they help us.

Beginning at 1:00pm on June 14 Robert Swan, Magician will bring his magic show. Enjoy a full hour of magic and time to learn more about magic tricks and the art of magic through reading.

The final reading day at the Sutherland Library is June 21 beginning at 1:00pm. Watch a fun show and learn how to make balloon animals along with a few simple magic tricks.

Help the library make sure enough space and supplies are available by calling 446-3839 if you are interested in any of the Summer Reading Program events. Everyone is welcome!
