Wolverines start track and field season at Dutch Relays

Alex Presthus ran the 800 leg for the fourth place distance medley at the Dutch Relays

The South O'Brien boys track and field team got the outdoor season underway at the Dutch Relays held April 2 at Northwestern College in Orange City. The Wolverines scored 83 points to finish fifth in Class B.

Matt Riedemann captured the 110 meter hurdles event in a time of 16.43. Right behind in second was Case Moermond with a clocking of 17.87. The shuttle hurdle relay claimed first as well, finishing in 1:09.40. Riedemann also came out on top in the high jump, clearing the bar at 6' 1".
