Wolverine girls fourth at Tomahawk Relays

South O'Brien's girls earned a fourth place finish in the 1A division at the Tomahawk Relays held April 5 at Cherokee. The Wolverines placed in nine events to score 74 points. Emmetsburg was the 1A team champ with 120.5 points.

Taryn Hintz captured the high jump with an effort of 4' 8" and Kenna Bauer was second in the 400 meter dash with a time of 1:07.47. Second place relays included the 4x100 of Hannah Dau, Willa Sickelka, Sydney Struve and Wylee Sickelka and the 4x200 with Dau, Hintz, Struve and Wylee Sickelka.
