SOCS Board Sets Budget Public Hearing

An insightful presentation by staff dedicated to bettering school life for students involved in the k-12 At Risk programs was given to the school board on March 20. Jeremy Gloden, Connie Flynn and Melanie Yates each shared how they interact with students in difficult times and the various strategies and tools each teacher employees. These tools are designed to redirect a student’s behavior and improve school improvement. The selection of strategies and tools available to assist students is large. Results are generally positive, but overall mixed.
