Sutherland Mayor Kay Gifford and City Clerk Amanda Vanderhoff show the large size of the proposed recycling dumpsters Town and Country wants to distribute for at a small rental price.

Representatives of Town and Country Disposal have been canvassing their client city councils with a proposed change to the collection of recycled materials. Councils have been discussing the proposed $12 per quarter rent for the new recycle collection containers. Councils have listened to the proposals as well as the views of their constituencies. Citizen responses have been mixed.
