February 14, 2019
For the second time this season, South O'Brien's boys had little trouble with an overmatched MMCRU team. The Wolverines didn't give up a point in the first quarter and allowed only five by halftime en route to a 64-27 win February 4 at Paullina. This marked the 300th career win for South O'Brien head coach Kiley Yates.
The Wolverines allowed MMCRU only eight baskets in 44 attempts, limiting the Royals to 18 percent shooting. South O'Brien outrebounded MMCRU 40-19. Large on the glass were Layn Case with eight rebounds and Jackson Louscher and Zeke Lundquist, each with six.
