Big first half carries Unity Christian past Lady Wolverines

Visiting Unity Christian controlled the first half against South O'Brien's girls and came away with a 66-39 victory December 14 at Paullina. The Knights led 38-12 at the break in running their winning streak to five games. The loss dropped the Wolverines to 2-2 in the War Eagle Conference.

Unity Christian shot 55 percent from the field (22-of-40) compared to 35 percent (16-of-46) for the home team. Part of that hot shooting for the Knights was a 7-for-13 effort from beyond the arc.
