Wolverines slip past Remsen St. Mary's

Although not a conference game, the contest between South O'Brien and Remsen St. Mary's featured two teams expected to contend for the War Eagle Conference boys basketball crown. South O'Brien built a six-point lead after three quarters and came away with a 63-60 triumph November 30 at Paullina. With the win, the Wolverines moved to 2-0 on the young season.

The tandem of Jackson Louscher and Zeke Lundquist helped offset a 34-point night by the Hawks' Spencer Schorg. Louscher totaled 17 points and Lundquist scored 16. Layn Case added nine points for the victors while Tristan Wilson and Alex...
