Dan Wetherell served as the librarian to General N. B. Baker Library is Sutherland from 2006 until his accidental death in 2018. During that time Wetherell developed a wide variety of activities and draws to the Sutherland Library. He is credited with several successful launches. He left behind 2 very large visions.

Two of Wetherell’s unfinished business items are recognizing the 200th birthday of the library’s namesake, General Nathaniel Bradley Baker. Baker and William Huston are credited with the founding of Sutherland’s library. It was officially adopted by ordinance of the City...
