School Board Evaluates Compensation of Non-regular Staff


Annual contract bids for regular purchases by the school board were accepted Thursday evening at the school board meeting. Casey’s Bakery, Dean Foods (dairy) and Pro Go (Fuel) and Paullina Chiropractic (bus driver physicals) won the purchases of the South O’Brien School District for the 2018-19 fiscal year. The new year begins July 1.

The first payment for the school track was approved. The engineers requested $152,811.25 for the first installment of the project less a 5% retainage to hold against penalties. A fleet of vehicles had been put out to bid and the bid winners announced.
