The erosion on the north side of the bridge and under 300th Street looking south. The County road crew has begun work to repair the damage.

At the Tuesday May 8 meeting of the O'Brien Count Board of Supervisors a light agenda allowed for in-depth discussion of the latest concerns brought by Drainage District #5 work. The O'Brien County Board of Supervisors serve as the Trustees to the Drainage District.

Sherri Bootsma started the discussion by updating the board that Rick Hopper, Jacobson-Westergard Engineer, admitted the hydro-seeding of the ditch's banks did not take. As a result, nothing is holding the soil in place, allowing severe bank erosion.
