South O'Brien Versus MMCRU at Primghar-Girls

Rachel Sohn tees off on Hole One at Primghar on Monday evening against MMCRU.

On a very windy night and our first home meet of the season, the South O'Brien girls beat MMCRU 212-276. Kaidee Weber earned medalist honors by shooting a 46. That's an amazing score considering the wind. I know she wasn't real happy with her last score but she's a very good golfer and I knew she would have no problem bouncing back. Sophomore Jillian Heemstra earned her first medal of her career by shooting a 53 and finishing 2nd and Rachel Sohn finished 3rd with a 54 and Shara Wallin tied Kaeley Einck for 4th with a 59 and and Shara earned the 4th place medal by beating Kaeley on the card playoff.
